30 million people starve to death every year and more than 800 million suffer of mal-nutrition.  Starvation takes 24 thousand lives daily, from which three quarters are children under five years old.

70% of the poverty in the world is composed of women and little girls.

Of the 6000 million human that inhabit this planet, only 500 million of them live comfortable, while the other 5500 million continue to live in scarcity

More than 1200 million people lack clean water supplies, and 2900 million lack access to sanitation.

In Europe there are 50 Million in poverty and 18 million unemployed.

12 million children die every year from causes that can be avoided.  Each year mal-nutrition, chicken pox and tetanus end the lives of more then 12 million children under the age of five and another 250 million fall victims to systems of child exploitation

In the year 2,000, more then 50,000 minors died of AIDS after being forced to prostitute themselves.  Each year, one million children are obligated into.

300 million children are submitted to conditions of great violence and brutality.

Three hundred thousand children are forced to participate in wars because they are inexpensive and can be sacrificed.  We spend 780 million dollars in military weapons, when it would only take 100 million dollars to end poverty for 500 million children around the world. 

It’s impossible to calculate the number of children who died in the War in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Vanity, egoism, ambition and fanaticism, have created a weapon of mass destruction.
